I did and Alhamdulillah I'm glad I did, I'm not ashamed of it, I'm strong enough to have my own opnions instead of parroting and aping the majority, unlike some people I do not blindly conform with the cultural norms of the society I live in just to fit in and be accepted.
I'm not saying cousin-marriages are the only way and I've nothing against non-cousin marriages, my parents weren't related, they weren't even the same ethnic group, my dad is Pathan and mum is Punjabi, but I hate brainless little scregs condemning cousin marriages because it's unheard of in the culture they live in.
As long as cousin couples get genetic testing/counselling done before marriage to make sure there's no likelihood of passing on genetic abonormalities there's nothing wrong with such unions.
