why in west mostly weddings are day wedding..even muslims prefer a day or evening wedding then night wedding?

The actual wedding ceremony is during the day because the reception is then held in the evening and runs into the night. Unlike muslim weddings they only have one day to celebrate, we have 3. They start early so they can cover everything. Actually all the muslim weddings I've been to in England have been during the day, bar maybe 1 or 2.

yea, Asians in the U.K. at least don't have much choice because a lot of venues aren't available past 11pm or so. so obviously, they set a time for lunch or dinner. most lunch time weddings i have been to when the bride and groom's family's don't live close and they need time to travel to the function and back home. An evening wedding will have dinner set at 7 or 8 usually, unlike pakistan where people tend to eat later.
