It appear that in the capital (London) there are 1400 conversions over the past 12 months. That makes 3.83 people per day on average in London.
Also doubling rate is quite another matter. When populations are low then doubling is easy and when populations are high then doubling gets harder. If there are only 10 people then to double them you only need 10 more, but if you have 100 people to double them you will need 100 more and obviously you can’t expect that the rate of doubling will be sustained.
Some have said that by the year 2020 the highest religious denomination in the UK will be Islam … I’ll be surprised if this becomes true. Currently only 1 in 600 are converts and may in total 1 in 100 are actually Muslim, but this is my personal estimate.

Yeh, the other day a Sri Lankan colleague told me the same, that women in UK are converting to Islam.

women have deeper understanding of certain things. We only have those certain things left in us as muslims. Lucky us.. we did not let those go..

after being in touch with islam and exposing myself to most all of it for three years, as a nonmuslim, I congratulate you for this increase in the number of converts. :k:
