There was a bottle of someone’s fabric softener…
I used one cap and left 75 cents on top of the bottle…
Is that morally correct or did I steal?

Re: In the laundry room...
According to Islam you stole. You used something that did not belong to you without the permission of its owner.
Re: In the laundry room...
^^
But I reimbursed it...It was a big bottle too, and I used a capful...So, 75 cents for a capful is ample reimbursement, no?
Re: In the laundry room...
The question is not if you reimbursed ...it is the permission of the owner....you must try to find the person and make sure that he/she accepts your payment and apology.
Re: In the laundry room...
First think is that you must ask the person before using it and second is ..How do you know that it cost 75 Cents?
Re: In the laundry room…
u see soft porn.
u defend it only cuz u r aroused
is it morally correct or are u a hypocrite?
Re: In the laundry room...
Well, it was Snuggles...That bottle I know is about $5.50...From the looks of that bottle, I can easily say you can get about 15-20 cupfulls...At .75 cents the bottle would yield 7.3 cups...
So I actually made an inadvertant profit for the bottle owner, not to mention 3 quarters which are so necessary for laundry...
Also, there was a bottle of detergent there too, all put on the folding table in the corner...How would one know if the person hadn't left it there on purpose for someone to use?
Re: In the laundry room...
^ Whatever but I think it's bad to take anything withought the permission of the owner, Even though you paid enough....But still, It's not acceptable in Islam
Re: In the laundry room…
^^
You’re probably right…Still, my laundry will now come out smelling nice and soft…![]()
Re: In the laundry room...
dude i wouldnt use someone else's fabric softner, maybe it had someone else bodily fluids in it and they left it there on purpose for you or someone else to use :P

Re: In the laundry room...
so i see this shiny new car
i really need a ride
i 'borrow' it for a spin around the block
and leave a $50 bill on the dashboard
tis all ok .. right?
Re: In the laundry room…
It’s ok unless there is no cop in your search ![]()
Re: In the laundry room...
I am afraid you don't know the whole story. After you left, the next person who came in for the laundry, saw your .75 cents and thought that the bottle was for sale. He took the entire bottle and left a 5 dollar bill. The next person who came in felt lucky to find the bill and purchased a lotto ticket. He sure was lucky to win the next 5 million dollar drawing but not very lucky to collect all the money because he got killed by the thiefs who robbed him. The money is now used in the drug market. See what you have caused? Sure it was alright.
All kidding aside, can you help me laundry my cloths over the weekend?
Re: In the laundry room…
The thought actually did cross my mind…
You never know what sickos might be out there…Putting body fluids in bottles for others to use…Or using other people’s fabric softeners…
It’s a sick world I tell you…
