As far as I know… Suicide isnt permissible in any case.
Only Allah chooses when and how He wants us to die. We have no right to decide.

If the girl had a child already and was going to get raped then by killing herself she would leave the child motherless.
Point being each situation is unique. Of course she should try to protect herself from rape, that can be done dangerously but with the intent to escape ... And if she dies in the process ... That is different to just killing herself. Another situation could mean that she tries to kill the rapist ...

If she has the resources to kill herself, why not kill the other guy or escape. Turn on her flight or fight.
The situation you mention is highly unlikely though, because the element of surprise is a rapists greatest weapon. A victim rarely knows what's coming for him/her.

Precaution:
1- Wear Islamic dress
2- Travel with Mahram
3- Tone should be harder when talking to a na-mahram
4- Always supplicate 'Protection' Duas

She should not kill herself.
Resist to the point that she does not get killed. Giving in after reasonable fight may be a better choice.
Anyhow, it is hard to advise/judge a victim of this cruel crime what to do in desperate situation.

Khudkushi is haram and a major sin, and getting rape is not your fault, so no sin upon you (I mean the girl).
Now if you are referring to Indo-Pak partition stories where Muslim girls jumped in the wells to commit suicide to save themselves from gang rapes and kidnapping by non-muslims dur9ing riots, then that was different.

Suicide is haram in anycase, but if a girl does that to her.. not only she committs a sin but also because of whom she did that will be punished too for raping her and then for her act of suicide too!! As far as I know!
