if you don't take them during fasting time then why not :)

I would of thought the Fast should do the trick therefore no need to take the diet pills.

I've yet to come across anyone who puts weight on in Ramadhan.

How about treating Ramadhan as your diet pill?

Almost everyone I know eats more in ramadan and puts on more weight than at any other time of year. Cos they eat more fatty foods.

So I just wanted to know if it would affect my fast in any way, like would it be seen as cheating of some kind? Cos they do stop me feeling as hungry as I would normally.

check with your doctor....

Im actually needed to know about it for religious reasons not medical.

Your allowed to take injections for headaches and stuff in ramadan, but ramadan is not just about food!

Ramadan is about abstaining from everything bad! TV, smoking, sexual relations, from talking bad or talking too much, and many other things. At the same time, you are still expected to SAY YOUR PRAYERS and carry on with your daily lives, which may involve going to school, studying, and working for your living. I know some people with free time say they will just sleep during the day and stay awake at night, that may be a good idea but you miss all your prayers.

Anywayz, I havent heard any fatwas regarding medicine to lessen your appetite, but I think if you take diet pills before sunset, its not technically haram. Not sure though.
