Why is it that people here on GS prefer to give more advice on sillier topics rather than on the ones where someone truely needs advice.

also, some individuals seem to think that its appropriate to show their ‘wisdom’, by which i mean their too direct and meanful side, at the time when its not justifiable.

i know this thread will attract those individuals… let the comments roll

GS pe ppl come from all walk's of life and every individual has his/her opinion.

It's the same way people who when they ask for advice dislike any comments that disagree with their own preconceived notions. Not everyone is going to say what the poster wants to hear and you learn to take the good advice with the bad.

fair enuf i know what ur saying but you will notice some threads on here where ppl need advice and no one bothers to comment but when there is a thread which hasnt got much substance, there are plenty of posts.

and my comment about ppl who post inappropriate comments is not based on what the poster doesnt want to hear but about comments that are made with the sole purpose of trying to infuriate the individual.

i am first to say im happy to listen to all points of views, thats what forums are all about, however, i am also the first to point out that some individuals are spiteful

I am completely guilty of this because I find it ****ing retarded. You are asking random people to provide advice on a subject matter which is portrayed from a single view point, in a vacuum with no ability to see the scenario from a wider perspective and the environment in which it occurs.

Basically the blind can not lead the blind and more importantly schmucks on a website can not provide you any substantive input on your real life.

And when some one need an advice ppl say stuff, some use full too.

The only thing that i have noticed here after 4-5 months is that people here love to discuss things which are related to marriage crap, SIL/MIL, rishta stories, dissing parents, brown people etc. Thats all they love to do. but when i comes to something serious or something which does not involve something i mentioned above, they will never show a concern .. :) .. thats how GS is ..

FOR THE RECORD, expressing opinion and disrespecting another person's preferences/opinion are two ENTIRELY different things. Emphasis: Entirely different.

You can disagree respectfully.
