In Mosque...

ive noticed many times that somtimes one row is left and nobody is praying there…

is there any particular reason:confused:

perhaps everyone else is in the other rows.

is this empty row in between other rows?? cuz that would be strange.

loll ravage :rotfl:

Shoki well im not really positive on this…this aunty said that if we pray standin shoulder to shoulder, feet to feet…da shaitan can-not pass through..im not sure if this is correct but that’s prolly the reason they try to fill up the other rows as much as possible and leave the other rows empty, cuz obviously there is no point of standing alone in one row when thea’s a prayer goin on wid jamaat..get wut im saying? :konfused:

Shoki: I'm not sure which row you are referring to but I'll assume its the first one where the imam is standing. The row aligned with the Imam is usually left empty as he is leading the prayers and that signifies he is the leader of the congregation.

Chorni: When they say shaitan should not be able to pass through, did you ever think past that statement? Here's what I thought, when we stand together side by side all fights are put aside, every worldly feud is left behind...no one cares if ur sunni shia or ahmedi. Thats shaitan who puts rifts between us rather than standing shoulder to shoulder, foot to foot.

Its to bring up unity and keep in mind that touching is the best form of affection to increase brotherhood in a congregation.

usually rows which r interrupted by pillars or other objects (cabinets etc) r left empty because they will be discontinued....

so unless there is a lack of space, the rows r left empty so another row which allows "a complete saf" can be used instead....

perhaps i will make it clear:)

I’m talking about like there are 9 rows with people filled in and praying. The 10th row is empty and nobody is praying there and the 11th one is filled where people are praying.

Now I think you can answer my question more clearly:flower1:

This is the first time I am hearing this, but then I am quite ignorant…

The only restrictions for the number of rows is in the Namaz-e-Janaaza where odd number of rows are observed, like 1, 3, 5, 7 and so on…

Also, may be because you are not allowed to stand in a row alone…Your Namaz is void if you stand alone in a row…Hence some scholars say that it is better to go home than pray alone at the back of a congregation…

I have no clue what you saw…:konfused:

lol..

it happens like here once in a month:rolleyes:
I think armughal is rite about the pillar or about the other objects:)

^^yeh shoki sumtimes it happens hea too…today thea wuz dis row infronta us which has space fo like 5 o 6 ppl n no one wuz prayin thea cuz few ppl came today…so they were standing in da second row and den da 4th row..i guess it’s lik when da otha rows fill up, whea eva ppl start praying otha ppl come n stand nex to em n try to fill up dat row…

Cocoa bhai…wow :bummer: i neva thought like dat..buh Subhanallah das great…

Dear brother in Islam,

The Prophet :saw: has said that the Shaitan enters the gap between two persons while praying. I read this hadith a week ago. I will try to find it. Its a good idea not to laugh on such things. Better confirm what someone sas before mocking at it. It is the saying of the most beloved to us in this world : Muhammad :saw:

thnx:)

I read the answers and one of the posts implies that AHAMADEES
are Muslims. Last time I checked that Govt of PK have declared them
as Non Muslims.
I think people should be very careful as to what other ppl write.
Here people are talking Namaz and here somebody is trying to
bring in AHMEDIS with Shias and Sunnis.
be careful guys.

first of all i am not a brother, im a sister :bummer:

and second of all, i was the one who said the thing about shaitan not entering if people pray shoulder to shoulder and feet to feet…i was not mocking anyone or any hadeeth..juz thought dat ravage’s reply wuz funny :konfused: i think u got ur self confused bro/sis
