the other boy is irrelevant in this situation.
if she is unhappy.. then reason for this unhappiness should be carefully considered. . if the only reason was the ther guy.. then that is not a good reason..
if the issue was even before the other guy's feelings returned. then that is another matter.
if she has been carrying the torch for her old flame.. then she is not really giving the husband a chance in hell so she is at fault.. she should grow up and abide by her decision.
Of course, if the husband is abusive, then sheshould go for annulment.
If the husband is nice and not abusive.. then not being in love with the spouse is not reason enough to dissolve the marraige.. as love is not the only reason to get married.
she should forget about her old flame, talk to the husband about their relationship.. discuss the matters.. work on their relationship.. and maybe they wil have feelings grow for each other.

i will tell you what he should do! forget about her! this is a sin and even bigger when you know it and you think about commiting it, mate life is complicated! islam doesn’t allow this, tell your mate to come out of the utopia he is living in and tell him to face the music and the same goes for the lady!
when the boy was approached for matrimony he should have oblighed then he had his chance and blew it! this isn’t a drama u know or a film that your feelings are gone for someone and then they come back suddenly.
i can’t believe that muslims are even doing this!!!
