Muniya, I’m done with my mba (almost) and I’ve got a job, and I’m gonna do my PhD after a year or so, and my mommy brings home guys I don’t like for me to marry, and the guy I like isn’t ready to get married, and I just wanna move outa the house and live my own life, but I can’t..coz coz I’m an obedient kid and I don’t want to distress my mom!

Too much drama is added to this word. I am not a believer of this Indian movie style "love" waghera.
You can think someone complements you in certain ways and your life can be spent happy together, and propose to them, if they accept, great and if not, move on, get over it and propose to someone else.
The drama of "love" and "feelings" that is added to all this and this "attachment" to a na-mehran is all hormonal and therefore must be overcome as its not clean.
This Indian movie or Heer Ranjha type "love" is something I never believed in and will never either coz it just sounds too cheezy :p
Once you are finance/fiancee or husband/wife then there is a commitment and duty involved in which case you have to play your role.
Other that that, as little drama should be injected into all this as possible. I always find those songs of "I'll die without you" and stuff absolutely cheesy :p
That's the theory anyway :D Practically things are a bit different because we've got "emotions" that hamper transition from one state to another.
However, they are mostly the result of overimagination and must be kept under control for the sake of sanity :D
whats wrong with having a life…being in the process of completing your degree…having future plans to do sum work in order to help people with your education…being married and bein gin love i dont really see the problem as long as its all legit, the two people involved are happy ( coz thats what counts…not the entire khaandan being happy first the 2 individuals come first!) and understand what is involved in a marriage and it is something that they want!
