I am yet to see a girl who sereously takes pain asking his b/f about the stress he gets in life and the tention he goes through at work when she doesnt understand what he is wanting her to understand..
Hm. Mabey you have only come across only one type of girl (the selfish type). If a couple is in love then I should also hope that there is a lot of honestly and communication involved in the relationship as well. "In Love" is not infatuation though and I do think now a days people tend to get these confused. The way I see it, If you love someone ...whether its a significant other, your child, or your parent, etc. then it is only natural that you will also really care about them and worry about their well being ALL the time.
I always knew what was going on in my bf's life and what was causing him stress and tension. I made a big effort of learning about his job so that I could understand his frustrations. I know that it was never our relationship that caused him any worry ever though. We were both very confident about our situation and knew we were an optimal match for each other. It was something to be extremely grateful and happy about...rather than be stressed about. If anything, our relationship was the least stressful thing in our lives. lol.
We told our parents about everything. His parents liked me, my parents liked him, humaari baat paki hogaye and we are going to get engaged soon inshAllah :) And again, our relationship actually de-stressed our parents because they do not have to worry about finding rishtaas. My parents are happy I am getting married "on time". So it all worked out.
