In Islaam what is Kufr and who is Hypocrite and what is consequences?

Those who believe in Islam and are truly Muslims. They must be aware to the fact that what is Kufr and who is hypocrite and what will happen in hereafter. Often Muslims do things out of ignorance or without consulting/looking into Noble Quran, Sunnah and Ahadeeth, which results in (a) following Kuffar (b) committing Kufr (c) committing inexcusable sins. So how we should educate those Muslims who are all around us and making the lives of other Muslims difficult? What you (Muslims only) say about it? Who is responsible for it, if one’s parensts failed to do their job by not educating their child about Islaam? Strangely those kinds of Muslims know that solution is a matter of reading Noble Quran and looking into the answers.

Dear Irrefragable,

My harmless and due sarcasm was solely for sectism at large (not any particular belief or sect, mind you).

I am not sure if I want to convince or justify my faith to anybody neither do I need to prove existence/non-existence of God. All I am trying to do is making sure that people interact here decently, and withing the limits outlined by Gupshup policies.

It has become a common practice of some Muslims on this kind of forum to mock Islam and their brothers and sisters in Islaam. Imitating white men some mental slaves have also labeled themselves as liberal Muslim or else. For those naive or ignorant it is cool. Unfortunatlely using stereotype and label given by Kuffar to Muslims to break their spirit and put them on defensive in nothing but a form of Kufr. There are no sects in Islaam and there is no liberal or conservatives in Islaam. In Islaam we have one uniform way of life. Please educate yourself before it is too late to turn back. If your views and life are not according Noble Quran and Sunnah then you are hypocrite and it is a major sin in Islaam. Please read the following.

On Types of Kufr

The following information was excerpted from the appendices to the English translation of TAFSIR IBN KATHIR

The Qur'an uses the word Kufr to denote people who cover up or hide realities. The Qu'ran uses this word to identify those who denied Allah's favors by not accepting His Dominion and Authority. Kufr thus is an antonym for Iman or disbelief in Allah and a Kafir is a non-believer. This type of Kufr is called AL-KUFR UL AKBAR or major kufr. There are many types of Al-Kufr ul Akbar:

  1. Kufrul-'Inaad:

Disbelief out of stubborness. This applies to someone who knows the truth and admits to knowing the truth and admits to knowing it with his tongue, but refuses to accept it and refrains from making a declaration. Allah(swt) says: Throw into Hell every stubborn disbeliever [Surah Qaaf (50), Ayah 24]

  1. Kufrul-Inkaar:

Disbelief out of denial. This applies to someone who denies with both heart and tongue.

Allah(swt) says: They recognize the favors of Allah, yet they deny them. Most of them are disbelievers. [Surah Nahl(16), Ayah 83]

  1. Kufrul-Kibr:

Disbelief out of arrogance and pride. The disbelief by the devils (Iblis) is an example of this type of Kufr.

  1. Kufrul-Juhood:

Disbelief out of rejection.This applies to someone who aknowledges the truth in his heart, but rejects it with his tongue. This types of kufr is applicable to those who calls themselves Muslims but who reject any necessary and accepted norms of Islam such as Salaat and Zakat.

Allah (swt) says: They denied them (OUR SIGNS) even though their hearts believed in them , out of spite and arrogance. [Surah Naml(27), Ayah 14]

  1. Kufrul-Nifaaq:

Disbelief out of hypocrisy.This applies to someone who pretends to be a believer but conceals his disbelief. Such a person is called a MUNAFIQ or hypocrite.

Allah( swt) says: Verily the hypocrites will be in the lowest depths of Hell. You will find no one to help them. [Surah An Nisaa (4), Ayah 145]

  1. Kufrul-Istihaal:

Disbelief out of trying to make HARAM into HALAL. This applies to someone who accepts as lawful (Halal) that which Allah has made unlawful (Haram) like alcohol or adultery.Only Allah(swt) has the prerogative to make things Halal and Haram and those who seek to interfere with His right are like rivals to Him and therefore fall outside the boundries of faith.

  1. Kufrul-Kurh:

Disbelief out of detesting any of Allah's(swt) commands. Allah(swt) says: Perdition (destruction) has been consigned to those who disbelieve and He will render their actions void. This is because they are averse to that which Allah has revealed so He has made their actions fruitless. [Surah Muhammed (47), Ayah 8-9]

  1. Kufrul-Istihzaha:

Disbelief due to mockery and derision.

Allah (swt) says: Say: Was it at Allah, His signs and His apostles that you were mocking? Make no excuses. You have disbelieved after you have believed. [Surah Taubah (9), ayah 65-66]

  1. Kufrul-I'raadh:

Disbelief due to avoidance. This applies to those who turn away and avoid the truth.

Allah(swt) says: And who is more unjust than he who is reminded of his Lord's signs but then turns away from them. Then he forgets what he has sent forward (for the Day of Judgement) [Surah Kahf(18), Ayah 57]

  1. Kufrul-Istibdaal:

Disbelief because of trying to substitute Allah's Laws. This could take the form of: (a) Rejection of Allah's law(Shariah) without denying it (b) Denial of Allah's law and therefore rejecting it, or (c) Substituting Allah's laws with man-made laws.

Allah (swt) says: Or have they partners with Allah who have instituted for them a religion which Allah has not allowed.
[Surah Shuraa(42), Ayah 8]

Allah(swt) says: Say not concerning that which your tongues put forth falsely (that) is lawful and this is forbidden so as to invent a lie against Allah. Verily, those who invent a lie against Allah will never prosper. [Surah Nahl (16), Ayah 116]

MAJOR SINS AND SIGNS OF HYPOCRISY

The major sins are associating other objects of worship with God, disobedience to parents, murder, and deliberate perjury.
(Bukhari, Muslim).

There are three signs of a hypocrite: when he speaks he speaks lies, when he makes a promise he breaks it, and when he is trusted he betrays his trust.
(Bukhari).

*Avoid the seven noxious things.(1) Associating anything with God, (2) magic,(3) killing one whom God has declared inviolate without a just cause, (4) devouring usury, (5) consuming the property of an orphan, running back from the battlefield and, (7) slandering chaste women who are believers but indiscreet.
(Bukhari, Muslim). *

Four characteristics constitute anyone who possesses them a sheer hypocrite, and anyone who possesses one of them possesses a characteristic of hypocrisy till he abandons it: when he is trusted he betrays his trust, when he talks he lies, when he makes a covenant he acts treacherously and when he quarrels he abuses.
(Bukhari, Muslim).

*AHADEETH ABOUT TRUST IN GOD AND ENDURANCE *

Seventy thousand of my people will enter paradise without being taken to account. They are those who do not use spells or take omens, but put their trust in their Lord.
(Bukhari, Muslim).

The strong believer is better and dearer to God than the weaker believer. In all that is good be eager for what benefits you, seek help in God, and be not too weak to do so.

Abu Dharr reported God's messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) as saying he knew a verse which would suffice men if they would but apply it, "For him who fears God He will appoint a way out and He will give him provision from an unimagined source.

Young man, if you are mindful about God He will be mindful of you, and if you are mindful of God you will find Him before you. When you ask for anything ask it from God, and if you seek help seek in God. Know that if the people were to unite to do you some benefit they could benefit you only with what God had recorded for you and that if they were to unite to do you some injury they could injure you only with what God had recorded for you. NOBLE QURAN ABOUT ALLIANCE
A Muslim is forbidden to make alliances with disbelievers.

Nobel Quran 8:72! Verily, those who believed, and emigrated and strove hard and fought with their property and their lives in the Cause of Allâh as well as those who gave (them) asylum and help, - these are (all) allies to one another. And as to those who believed but did not emigrate (to you O Muhammad SAW), you owe no duty of protection to them until they emigrate], but if they seek your help in religion, it is your duty to help them except against a people with whom you have a treaty of mutual alliance, and Allâh is the All-Seer of what you do.

Noble Quran 9:7! How can there be a covenant with Allâh and with His Messenger for the Mushrikûn (polytheists, idolaters, pagans, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allâh) except those with whom you made a covenant near Al-Masjid-al-Harâm (at Makkah)? So long, as they are true to you, stand you true to them. Verily, Allâh loves Al-Muttaqûn (the pious - see V.2:2).

Noble Quran 5:51! O you who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians as Auliyâ' (friends, protectors, helpers, etc.), they are but Auliyâ' to one another. And if any amongst you takes them as Auliyâ', then surely he is one of them. Verily, Allâh guides not those people who are the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong­doers and unjust).

Noble Quran 9:23! O you who believe! Take not for Auliyâ' (supporters and helpers) your fathers and your brothers if they prefer disbelief to Belief. And whoever of you does so, then he is one of the Zâlimûn (wrong-doers, etc.).
NOTE:ALLIANCE IS FORBIDDEN WITH EVEN DISBELIEBING KINS.)

Forbidden with hypocrites:
Noble Quran 4:88-89! 88. Then what is the matter with you that you are divided into two parties about the hypocrites? Allâh has cast them back (to disbelief) because of what they have earned. Do you want to guide him whom Allâh has made to go astray? And he whom Allâh has made to go astray, you will never find for him any way (of guidance).
89. They wish that you reject Faith, as they have rejected (Faith), and thus that you all become equal (like one another). So take not Auliyâ' (protectors or friends) from them, till they emigrate in the Way of Allâh (to Muhammad SAW). But if they turn back (from Islâm), take (hold) of them and kill them wherever you find them, and take neither Auliyâ' (protectors or friends) nor helpers from them.

Noble Quran 4:139 & 144! 139. Those who take disbelievers for Auliyâ' (protectors or helpers or friends) instead of believers, do they seek honour, power and glory with them? Verily, then to Allâh belongs all honour, power and glory.
144. O you who believe! Take not for Auliyâ' (protectors or helpers or friends) disbelievers instead of believers. Do you wish to offer Allâh a manifest proof against yourselves?

YOU SEE THAT AFTER READING THE ABOVE VERSES FROM NOBLE QURAN, IF A MUSLIM DOES CONTRARY TO THESE VERSES HE/SHE HAS COMITTED A KUFR. HE/SHE MUST CORRECT HIM/HER AND ASK ALLAH (SWT) FOR FORGIVENESS. I AM NOT SURE ABOUT YOU HOW YOUR DEEN-E-ILLAHI WORKS.
