it's just my gut feeling. i think the design and the material of her clothes plus the way she is carrying herself is more Pkaistani than India. wee. God knows better, of curse! :)

Assamese and Malayali brides usually dress in white-golden combination.
So I guess it is region specific.

No she won’t be, traditionally heads of Widows were shaved (though I have not seen such widow)

This can be interpreted as someone either going to, or coming from, funeral procession
