No she won’t be, traditionally heads of Widows were shaved (though I have not seen such widow)

This can be interpreted as someone either going to, or coming from, funeral procession

yes, this dress is quite appropriate for someone who id going to or coming back from a funeral.

actually, i was hinting at white color. i’ve seen a lot of Hindu widows wearing white saaris, even some Muslim widows wear generic white shalwar qameez [self imprints type] or very very light colored material. i think it’s more common in rural UP and Bihar.

i have never seen widow wearing white dress in real life,even the old grandmas except for in movies

i dunno about you about i have seen plenty of women wearing white saaris all of their widowed life.
