Re: In Depth meaning of this verse?

The testes are actually formed inside abdomen and then descend down till it reaches the position in testes just before birth. Some newborns are born with testes still inside the abdomen. Inside abdomen they are between ribs and spine. So Allah has told us something about anatomy as well. Who told this to Muhammad 1400 years back that the testes are formed inside the abdomen????

The second meaning is that the whole ejaculatory mechanism is controlled from nerves inside spine coming out from spine between ribs and end of the spine.

I am sorry you may not be correct.

First of all as I have mentioned before somewhere, *try not to be emotional by trying to prove scriptures on the basis of science. * That is a futile mistake so many do even from other religions.

Secondly, when semen is ejaculated, it does not come from testicles within the abdomen and you were correct that testicles are formed inside abdomen but they pass down before birth in normal male babies to get to where they stay permanently. Between the loins.

If they (testicles-testes) do not come down, their ability to procreate and forming sperm is abolished due to heat inside abdomen. This is why at birth of male child doctors do check their position in scrotum. And they need to have operation to bring them out as soon as possible if missing.

Coming to the verse.

It is described that human is created from both what is between loins/backbone (male testicles/prostate) and from between ribs (female ovaries).

Thanks diwana most scholars are too focussed on trying to explain it only from the Male's contribution to forming life, they completely ignore the fact that "THE RIBS" part in the verse is talking about Women's egg issued between the ribs!

Re: In Depth meaning of this verse?

^^ The female ovaries are not in between ribs. They are lying in pelvis or hip bones. Further the Ayat clearly says that [He is created from water gushing forth, proceeding from between the backbone and ribs] So it mentions the male part.
