Political Leanings? Left Wing..alternatively refers to Socialist, Liberal (Humanist), Greens (environmentally conscious)or downright Communist...while the right wing can range from Conservative to Libertarian...Left is Community minded..Right is more individualist (especially when it comes to money)...Left favours bigger government, higher taxes, more involvement of the government into the society, where possible free health, education etc....Right wants lower taxes, lower Govt Interference into the public and private sector, on the other extreme of free health and education
they even want other basic human necessities as water and sanitation privatised and making people pay for it to private enterprise, rather than through taxes...
Middle of the Road refers to elements of both...For example majority of the New Labour in UK and Democrats in US are right leaning middle of the roaders....
these are extreme generalisations ofcoarse...the extreme of both right and left has resulted in Fascism and Totalitarian Govts...Here I am going to Confuse You a Bit...but Hitler's Germnay and Stalins USSR were both extreme opposite ends of the spectrum Nazia Extreme right and Soviets were Communist or Left Wing and yet both yielded extremly restrictive and constricting govt..interfering in every single aspect of the society
