Have you guys tried any cloud based service for databases?
I been playing around with DynamoDB (AWS) but it always have that throttling limitations. And of course if you increase req/resp count then price goes up. I also worked with mongoLab, which is good, but little expensive.
Any thoughts / suggestions ?

How about the Azure hosted SQL? Give that a shot. They are price matching AWS and its a serious MS SQL beast.
There are, however, certain services (add-on) that don't come with it, like SSIS and ETL. But, none-the-less, very effective.
