This thread is nothing but to express my personal appreciation for bella88, Southie, and others.
I have seen them both take keen interest in matters concerning Islam, more than I have seen other typical muslims. Their sense of investigative questions, the burning desire to learn the what and the why coupled with a sense of what is implementable in today’s society is very admirable. When and where one gets cornered by some of us who could use more tolerance, the other one is always present to provide support in face of discouraging remarks. That’s Brotherhood/Sisterhood of Islam in practice.
Who else but a hidden muslim would spend so much time on topics concerning Quran, Sunnah, Shariah, and Islam as a whole? If each of us including myself spent as much time researching Islam, with the will of Allah, we would all be much better muslims with passage of time than we are today.
May Allah enable us to learn our deen, and educate others in it.
Please do not post any hate mail here, and only make a remark if it’s encouraging to our mentioned friends and others.

i think every individual is different and everyone goes through spiritual phases. what we should do is that we should leave them alone. if they ask question regarding Islam, we should answer as best as we can.
besides, i think those individuals who have either interest in Islam or those who question Islamic believes are highly encouraged to contact an 'aalim who has spent years in learning the Deen. he is better suited and more knowledgeable person to guide us all.
i wish all the best to all the Muslims and non Muslims alike. i pray for all to be guided to the right path. aameen

Southie reminds me of Jesus Christ, and bella is like the Joan of Arc of GS. Good thread, teggy payyan. Lots of people want to crucify and burn them but they are here for your sins alone.
Let us appreciate these two wonderful divine individuals who continue to enlighten many guppies on a daily basis. Question everything - especially dogmatic morality and creationism. Jai jawan, jai kisaan!

I also appreciate those who always try to engage in a meaningful discussion without making personal attacks, such as Psyah. although we dont agree on religious views, he is the only person so far who actually has knowledge about religion, and he's never rude or mean.
