I think, I should stop beating around the bush. The portions that was Hindu Majority was good in creating wealth, the Muslim dominated areas were not. period. That is why India started with something and Pakistan did not and that continues even today. Please do not compare 1947 per-capita income - because it is skewed. 1/3 Pakistan is fertile Punjab, that will skew the stats.

Again, as I said you do need to read the history of creation of Pakistan.

Since at least 1857, Muslims were seen as ‘enemies’ of British Raj. Their areas hardly got attention for development.

Why beat around the bush? Are you saying all idiots were living in Muslim areas?

If one compares Pakistan and India, security issue is one of the major factor what made the difference in economic growth in Pakistan. And that is only recently…despite starting with very little assets.
