ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf leader, Imran Khan, has claimed that his party would halve the corruption in Pakistan within nine days after coming to power, Geo News reported.
He was talking to newsmen after a party meeting here.
Khan said that the demands for a “PTI Children’s Wing” were growing louder and louder making a case for the formation of one.
To a question, he said” Whether the party survives or not, we will elect all the office bearers for all the positions through vote, adding there will be no direct appointments”.
He also told the media that in Sunday’s meeting the party had settled all the “differences” and now it was rift-free.
Khan also revealed that the details of the members’ assets would be posted on the party’s website.
He once again condemned the leading political parties of the country for their silent agreements in looting the country’s wealth.
“ Asif Zardari and Nawaz Sharif are one, they are on board Samhjota Express”, said he.

Isn't this issue discussed in this forum? I have pointed out that same TI reported that there was less corruptiion as compared to previous years. He has given the reference of report which suited his address. As Pakistani living abroad, why should I believe him whose appeal is based on false reporting?

Corruption on decline in Pakistan: Transparency International report
Transparency International (TI) has observed that corruption in Pakistan has reduced during the current year, credit of which has been given to Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of parliament, Judiciary and the Defence Ministry for applying PPRA Rules.
According to the report, Pakistan 2011 Corruption Perceptions Index score was 2.5 out of 10, and ranked as 42nd most corrupt country out of 183 countries.
In 2010 its score was 2.3, and rank was 34th most corrupt country out 178 countries.

Totally agreed. 
More bullshtick from Imran Khan, I don’t know when he will get this through with his thick skull. 9 days are too much to half corruption, it will be eradicated the moment and minute he takes oath. If he takes oath, that is. The very second he walks into the prime minister house, would be corruption’s dying moments. And this is the cold, hard truth.
Anyone who is anyone knows that corruption (like fungus) grows fast and quick if left unattended. 
From the top. Tell me how simple is this equation? If the the top most official at an institution is doing his job 100% without slacking and without corruption, then that’s the death bell for lower level corruption. It’s a pyramid, and starts from the very top!
He or she will see to it that the person under him is doing his best to keep a check on corruption, and going beyond the call of duty. And likewise, same goes for people below them, and so on and so forth. So much so that it is minimized at the lowest of levels. If everyone knows that they will be held accountable, everyone will behave. Or at least most people will.
You can’t end corruption. FACT.
No country has eradicated it 100%. But the best you can do is start stopping it at the top!

Im surprised at Imran’s conservative statement. If I were him, I would claim to remove 90% of corruption in 1 day. If PPP is out, thats at least 90% corruption gone right away.

PPP was out of power from 1996 to 2008.
During this period Imran passed long time in bed with Mush.
Corruption was growing that time too like our population .
Go inside the aim of the message .
Only this message is aimed to grab more money from the people who can pay the best ..
