True in principle but important not to generalise. How do you think the British government solved the longstanding dispute with IRA Murderers? Talks ultimately led to durable peace
I am not in favour of talks with Taliban either. The difference between Taliban (a diseased and pathological mindset) and IRA is that Taliban are also evil and inhuman. You cannot really have a sane conversation or argument with murderers who have stone age thinking, who play football with severed heads of soldiers and then post it on youtube!
IRA had more humanity. They gave advance warning (it does not diminish their crime for sure) to the British government before each attack
