Re: Imran warns direct talks with Taliban if govt fails
Since Musharaf’s fall, army has made considerable efforts to pacify the tribal leaders, it’s part of their Afghan strategy to have a friendly and pacified FATA as a buffer against hostile Afghanistan. Army cannot freely move there to launch combat actions but there’s no reason why they cannot take steps to develop FATA and kick start some sort of low key process of gradual federalisation of the region.
Re: Imran warns direct talks with Taliban if govt fails
UN walas are not TTP. Of course they are using it as an excuse, how hard it is for them to approach a 14 year old boy (or the boy to go to nearest Taliban recruitment office or whatever) who has lost his entire family in drone attacks to grab a suicide jacket and seek his revenge on the streets of Peshawar. Anyone who has a pea size knowledge about tribal culture would know that the idea of revenge is deeply rooted in their psyche and there's absolutely no doubt that drones strikes have massively contributed the the radicalisation of FATA as well increasing the rate of revenge attacks. *Drones cannot defeat the ideology that's behind the daily killings of innocent Pakistanis, therefore they're illegal and utterly useless. *
Again how does Pakistan benefits from Mehsud's death considering his replacement has already been announced? After decade of fighting this war, its safe to say we're beyond that usual media condemnation of Taliban just to score some brownie points, it's time to wrap up this war for sake of Pakistan. IK is the only man in the country who has put his entire weight behind concluding this war and finding lasting peace for the country. Full marks to him for his sincere efforts and consistency, while the fed gov, military and all other parties sit there numb and aloof and just view the tamasha from distance.
agreed drones cannot defeat this ideology but neither can appeasement of these animals and refusal to condemn them for the murder of innocent Pakistanis.
Re: Imran warns direct talks with Taliban if govt fails
Talk about bull****. Due to this drone strike more Pakistanis will die. Specifically in KPK. This will lead to more Pakistanis dying. There will be only suicide bombers now. More kids orphans, more women widows. More men dead. And you can still preach living comfortably in the West the greatness of drone strikes.

Re: Imran warns direct talks with Taliban if govt fails
^^^ You are right. American give them Kharjee devils drone medicine in FATA … drones put fire on their tail, they run towards KPK in fear, shock, and pain, reach Peshawar and blow themselves up killing many innocents. :) ...
But problem is that, drone or no drone, these Kharjee devils tail are always on fire ... and they would keep running from FATA to KPK blowing themselves up and killing many innocents.

Its okay. You don't know any better living in the West. You have no connection with the Pakistani people nor do you understand the consequences of such drone attacks.
Arm chair internet generals are the worst because you have no understanding of the real life human costs. Tomorrow you will have Pakistanis dead and you will be sitting in your comfy home talking about how horrible it is. Others will pay with their lives for your vitriol.
Re: Imran warns direct talks with Taliban if govt fails
All IK apologists can you answer one question did TTP exist before drone attacks? were no Pakistanis being killed by these pigs before the drone attacks? Will they cease to exist if drone attacks cease? Drone attacks are one of the contributory factor but not the only one. They dont need any excuse to attack our state.
I am IK supporter to an extent, disagree with him on some and agree with him on some but TTP itself was founded in 2007. Drones fueled enough hate and allowed militants one platform, to recruit people against jihad against "kaafir" America. They gained strength in arms, funds and hands in 2008 when drones surged to 36. Over the years militants have learnt how to make fool of people, governments, supporting parties, how to gain support, how to make money. Now drones or no drones, TTP is not going away, in fact TTP will only grow stronger if drones continue. Thanks to known support for drones by our army and government TTP can now easily convince people that the state machinery is supporting "kuffar" of America.
