I think he is just jabbering. He doesn’t know what to say after severe criticism he has faced due to this pathetic policy of appeasing the oppressors instead of supporting the victims.
A Taliban who renounces violence is not a Taliban anymore. He is then just a regular member of our religious organizations like JUI or JI.
What defines Taliban is the violence they legitimize to achieve their objectives. Otherwise majority of the country share their views and support their cause.
