So what will Imran’s negotiations accomplish then?

America is talking to Taliban because it wants to accommodate them and include them in Afghan government. In other words, accept them.
But if Imran does not want to accept Taliban then why is he giving the example of American talks with Taliban, which eventually will lead to America’s acceptance of Taliban?

So Taliban is suddenly not America’s problem! That’s rich. First exacerbate the mess (even if the Americans did not create the problem in the first place) and then conveniently leave when it suits them

There is no distinction between Al-Qaeda and Taliban/TTP IMO. Both are extremists, both are our enemies

What was sulah hudaibiya about? Was it with friends of Islam? The bottomline is we cannot eradicate militancy by military force alone. At some point we will have to talk with these people too
