I don't think that "too honest" is the problem here. IK is just a misfit in Pakistani politics. One needs political acumen, connections and the ability to work with many different kinds of people (including those who you don't agree with) to succeed in politics. The only reason we talk about him as much as we do, and completely ignore other similarly failed politicians in Pakistan, is simply because Imran is a known name due to his cricketing successes and most people had high hopes for him to succeed in politics. He has dashed all such hopes with his naiveté.
who would you call other such failed politicians ..besides maybe asghar khan?
