Imran refused entry in Karachi for the third time

It’s really pathetic…Imran is the most peaceful politician in the country who does not carry a pistol even…unlike Klashinkov brigades with all the others…he was never engaged in any criminal activity ever…let alone a violent one…the government is fearing that he will create a law and order situation…the caretakers on the instrictions from Don of London are denying him entry in Karachi…showing they are like illegal owners of Karachi…denying rights to Mr. Khan the most law abiding politician ever in the history of Pakistan…

Karachi

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan was barred from entering Sindh for the third consecutive time on Thursday following the imposition of another 30-day ban on his entry by the caretaker provincial government.

Imran Khan, who arrived at the Karachi airport through a PIA flight PK-363 from Quetta at around 2.00 p.m, was not allowed to leave the airport and sent back to Islamabad through next available flight, PK-308.

Sindh Home Secretary Arif Khan, while confirming the ban on Imran Khanís entry into the province for 30 days, said that the political and law and order situation compelled them to impose the ban on the PTI chief.

ìToday the Chehlum of Benazir Bhutto is being observed while yesterday an ugly incident took place in the city that resulted in a law and order situation.

We didnít want to take any risk so we barred Imran Khan from entering into the province,î he said.

He said, however, that the provincial government could lift the ban after the February 18 general elections.

Answering a question, he said that there was no ban on political activities of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf in Sindh but said that if Imran Khan announces any unscheduled public meeting or a rally in Karachi, it can create problems for the provincial administration.

Re: Imran refused entry in Karachi for the third time

Life in Pakistan under the dictator

Re: Imran refused entry in Karachi for the third time

Mashallah and then we say 12 May was the only black spot in MQMs political history.

Re: Imran refused entry in Karachi for the third time

I know you are using my 'saying', so I will make few corrections: May 12 is the biggest black spot in recent history (esp when they joined Mushy hands in govt).

There have been many other black spots of violence, killing of people of other ethnicities, shutting down city every wednesday and what not. So lets not misquote it out of context again. Does it help?

Re: Imran refused entry in Karachi for the third time

City has been handed over to MQM on a platter, this is utterly disgusting!

Re: Imran refused entry in Karachi for the third time

Ehtasab, you are just one of many on this board who believes MQM is best option for KHI and even for this country. So dont feel left alone in this fight.

Re: Imran refused entry in Karachi for the third time

Poor immo.. though it is conundrum as to why the order can be termed illegal [unless a court spoke in favor of immo in a case] since govt isn't taking away his habeau corpus rights or something.

Re: Imran refused entry in Karachi for the third time

A freehand to do whatever they like, dictator like. First they barred Ch Iftikhar, then Imran Khan. Its BS claiming he would become reason for law and order situation. If they had any balls they would've barred Benazir, but they didn't.

Re: Imran refused entry in Karachi for the third time

good

Re: Imran refused entry in Karachi for the third time

Please, for last time I am saying, I don't believe MQM is best option for Karachi. I only said that it seemed people would be voting for MQM again based on what I heard from people. We will know what happens come Feb 18. May Allah help Pakistan!

Re: Imran refused entry in Karachi for the third time

Sad.

Re: Imran refused entry in Karachi for the third time

They're over rating imran's trouble potential. Just by virtue of these bans they're actually making him a bit bigger. Each time.

Re: Imran refused entry in Karachi for the third time

He insulted Altaf Hussain with proof, something no one has managed to escape with so far. This is the least they can do to him. :chai:

How Dare He Question the establishment

Re: Imran refused entry in Karachi for the third time

why does he want to risk his life and try to go there again and again

Re: Imran refused entry in Karachi for the third time

Trying to show that he is always targeted, eventhough he's a citizen of the country just like anyone else.?

Re: Imran refused entry in Karachi for the third time

yeah but he should know better that the city is ruled by Sindh Ka Beta, Quaid-e-Fisaad His Excellency Pir Altaf Hussain (RA) and his goons, who are in the govt. And for them he is the public enemcy #1. Why take risk going there.

Re: Imran refused entry in Karachi for the third time

He is leader of the people. Unlike Altaf he doesn't discriminate b/w mohajirs, punjabis, sindhis, balochis, etc. What makes him a great leader is that he not scared of people/politicians who are hungry for power and exploiting people for their own benifit. You can never achieve anything if you don't take risks. Karachi is not Altaf's jagir that he can ban anyone whenever he wants. And what is even pathetic that Mushy's government has given them a free hand to do whatever they want to do.

Re: Imran refused entry in Karachi for the third time

Karachi has been handed over to him on platter, first Zia and now Mushy, two "greats" achieve something similar.

Re: Imran refused entry in Karachi for the third time

so has mush helped altaf create Jinnahpur, some of the recenst actions in Karachi seems as if altaf ad indias dream has come true, MQM mafia rules there- its like a seperate state!
