LAHORE: Security personnel in Maryam Nawaz’s protocol on Friday harassed Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Imran Khan’s sister and her family in the Gulberg-III area of Lahore, said Khan’s sister, Uzma Khan.
“Dr Uzma Khan, along with her children, was on her way to Friday prayers when an Elite force vehicle stopped her car and misbehaved with her,” alleged Khan’s nephew, Hasan Niazi.
He added the security vehicle was coming wrong way down the thoroughfare.
“The security personnel also pointed their guns at the family,” said Niazi.
Khan’s sister, Uzma Khan, said she will not be registering a First Information Report (FIR) as “it is of no use”.
“Are people who do not have protocol and security details not worth anything?”
She also said policemen beat her sons at the very same place a year ago, and added the police had filed charges against her sons and harassed them instead of taking action against their own colleagues.
Model Town’s superintendent of police, Ammara Athar, said the incident has not been reported to the police yet.
“Appropriate action will be taken if the incident is reported to the authorities,” said the SP.

Irrespective of whose protocol it was, the fact remains that Punjab police is basically a mafia, a group of poltiically appointed thugs, whose job is to serve their leige lords, and to hell with the public that pays their salaries.

The point is, IK family lied again and blamed PMLN for no reason…later IK came out and shamelessly blamed Faryal Talpur, whereas, the fact is IK does same with others on regular basis when is in Lahore..where his Land Cruiser does all lane-changing and that with great risk of hitting others…and if police stop any of these…all scream fouls…
The sons of this sister of IK were in brawl in Lahore with traffic police last year and in London as well…being a devoted follower of PTI now you can say London police is trained and mAnaged by punjab police…
Once Bilawal, faryal talpur are on the container with IK…against Corruption ( and thats hillarous) i am sure they both can blame it on NS…after all jhoot hi tu bolna hay, in which IK have long and great history..

You don’t have to defend the ghunda gardi of your government. Today it is Imran’s sister, tomorrow it will be NS’s wife and daughter. There is basically wrong with Pakistani’s thinking. Unless it is changed, any one can be victim of this ghunda gardi. It should not only be condemned but also people who did this should be behind the bars.

Just like all other institutes or departments police also run under govt influence. Any mismanagement in protocol can take the jobs of recruited personnels.
