Imran idealogy is very much in line with the people our army is fighting.
The only reason, he can’t officially join them, is his own past.
Muslim Khan was a drug lord.. baitullah massod was a truck driver.. and Imran Khan was/is a playboy.. ![]()
at least they have something in common, …

Re: Imran Khan's ideology is inline with Taliban [split: May 12th is coming]
If Taliban's ideology is the same as Iqbal's then yes, otherwise no...
Though, I am sure many here would find profound issues with Iqbal...the leading idealogue of Islamists...
Some golden words from Pakistan-Tehreek-Insaaf/Taliban Website:
**<edit: Link to external forum removed>

PTI want support of Al-Qaeda - MashALLAH
Support is coming for Imran Khan from unexpected ways:

So a random poster on the PTI discussion forum is now Imran Khan’s spokesperson?

I am expressing my opinion, based on what I have seen,
coming from him, in recent years.
As I said many times on this forum,
he condemns western powers,
but never says a word against mullahs.
Infact last time on GPS (Farid Zakaria) CNN, he claimed that
this (Sufi's shariah) is the best deal for everybody, including local sawatians.
Re: Imran Khan's ideology is inline with Taliban [split: May 12th is coming]
This is not a revelation - the right wing of pakistan are in bed with taliban and are willing to go 100% with them in beahdings and sucideing.
Re: Imran Khan’s ideology is inline with Taliban [split: May 12th is coming]
The balanced view is that Imran Khan has tried to get political mileage from the issue. In order to pit himself as an alternative to the West and in order to cash in on public antipathy towards the WOT he has repeatedly downplayed or justified Taleban actions. This includes nonsensical arguments such as the its-all-a-reaction, to downright denial. It can get idiotically tone-deaf such as when he claims that extremists would never attack cricketers or claiming that Taleban destroying girls schools and beheading people is just government propaganda.
If the guy possessed an ounce of intellectual honesty he would take these idiotic statements back after the Taleban acknowledged that they destroyed girls schools, gave ultimatums to parents not to send their girls to schools, and acknowledged their beheadings.

and that makes him an army hater, just because he never spoke against Mullahs or talked about Sufi Shariah?
I personally think that Imran is too good to be a politician. He was a good cricketer, a great social worker but when it comes to polictis, he is not the right material to be part of Pakistan Politics. And that is not a bad thing, he does not have that crooked character that is required to be successful.
This is very sad that last year, he was used by all the anti-musharaf parties as a poster boy on 12th may issue, and then they threw him away as used tissue paper. I just hope that he learned his lesson and this time he tries to stay away from politics and politicians.

The point of posting from Tehreek-e-Insaaf website/forum was that "it's official forum of TI, if they allow such thread/topics/reply's and tolerate thinking/views like this. Then what else i can say, it goes against their credibility.
As a political entity they are tolerating such views, then i have every right to quote from their official source.

Why dont you go there and post in favor of Altaf Bhai. If your post doesnt get deleted, we can safely assume that Imran Khan supports Altaf bhai, based on your own flawed logic that you just presented?

No, a "forum" is for discussions, not an official stance.

He was a fantastic cricketor, no doubt about that. Plus he has great on the social front as well (cancer hospital). However, in the war of moderates vs. extremists (don't pretend there is no war), its clear where his loyalties lies. Anyone can see that Musharraf was a moderate leader, he fought the extremists, who at that time, were chanting democracy and bringing back CJ Iftikhar. Same elements, now don't like democracy and trying to bring in islamic sharia, with qazi courts (instead of supreme court).
Re: Imran Khan's ideology is inline with Taliban [split: May 12th is coming]
political witch hunt. whomever you dislike, who ever is loudest agaisnt your strategis, just yell taliban and expect others to fall in line. silly and stupid.
Fazul-ula was chair left operator & Sufi was village Mullah before he went crazy & decided to destroy Swat. These are sharia enforcers.
