We all know he has already apologised for his support to Musharraf which was explained and justifiably so.
You can, however, decide that once one commits a mistake, there is no way of making up for the error one has done and one must die for it. Or if you believe that an apology is a civilised and acceptable way of allowing an errant to mend his ways, than may I suggest that this issue should be considered as done and dusted.
