Ofcourse I dont expect the Taliban to bend over and take it. Would you expect a rabid dog to not bark? So the Taliban will bark till the end. And those dogs will cause the deaths of countless people. The same people that suffered when they ruled over them, now die as a result of their so called jiHAD. The Taiban were illegitimate then and they remain illegitimate now. The Taliban were not a govt, they were a terrorist organization holding an entire a nation and people hostage. So your claim that the Taliban were ever a govt is a joke.

I guess Vietnamese, Koreans also barked when they were attacked? If a nation is ‘alive’ they will fight back, if a nation is coward they will simply bend over and take all that is ‘offered’. You, I will differ from what they did as rulers but you and I did not live in Afghanistan when Russia was ‘shoving’ it. You and I are outsiders of their culture, of their area. If Taliban really were that bad, that much oppressive why did tribes join them? They must have something better to offer? It was not like Taliban rode F-16s and the rest of warlords were riding turtles.

If you think life under the Taliban was so great, why didnt you go live there? You people love to sing their praises from afar, but if your mothers and sisters were ever forced to give up their education, live in tents their entire life, you had to wear a beard by law, no music, no entertainment of any kind, if you had to witness people beaten and executed in the streets, you would probably beg the americans to liberate you.

But keep dreaming.

Why does everything come down to “why don’t you move there”? You are probably from the likes of “if US is so bad why don’t you leave” when they hear US criticism. Now read my comments again and see if I was singing for the “good life” in Afghanistan.
