Afghans are no cavemen. And perhaps not even cavemen would want to live under the twisted 7th century fiefdom that the taliban, with Pakistan’s blessing, once imposed before in their country and want to impose again.

Also, how would Imran Khan and his defenders react if Afghans interfered in Pakistan’s affairs in a similar arrogant manner and started justifying the terrorism/jihad by Baloch milatant groups such as the Baloch Liberation Army against Pakistani “occupiers” and Punjabi/mohajir “settlers” in Balochistan. It won’t be very pleasing, would it?

The Afghans have started paying us back in the same coin, the refuge to TTP in Eastern Afghanistan is a testimony to that.
