this is like frogs not realising that the water they're in is ever so gradually getting hot. you ImmyK revolutionaries will make defenses of every obvious overture to Altaf and re-rationalize it every time. lets be clear on whats going on. Imran is flirting with MQM, this is like a little flower at the doorstep.. just as that telephonic conversation was him singing outside MQM's window. Maybe he has some intimations from the powers that be that his diligent service is to be rewarded and he will have a larger political role and he realises that you need MQM to make the political math work. Whatever the case may be, its hard for you lot who have raved about his integrity all these years, despite the blatant, obvious political calculation of constantly switching focus from religious extremism in our society to america bashing. A political calculation that would be forgivable if it wasnt in the backdrop of tens of thousands of people killed for explicitly religious reasons. But you lot have been singing praises of his integrity for years deftly ignoring this fatal flaw, and I suppose after a while you develop a talent for it.. and so you wont have any problem if he eventually gets put into power by those calling the shots, and has to become bosom buddies with Altaf. Because by then the water would be boiling, and you would be perfectly cooked.

this not the frist time he got into trouble for speaking thoughts rather then his political statements..
Other thing is... I value his will much above his statements.. moves etc etc.....
He has made LOT of mistakes and does make them once in while still. He learns moves ahead...
Its about time you guys gave a fair chance...
I would bring jinnah back if I could... but now thats all we have got... and its not bad what he has done and what he has to offer.
