Genuinely upset after reading such a false blaming
... statement from former player who was given chance
by the man he has blamed.
I also heard Sikander Bakht saying that Shahid Afridi was dropped after he met Nawaz sharif, and Zaka Ashraf was not pleased about the encounter. Can anyone confirm?

yes hamid mir said k shahid afridi was asked to join ppp, he declined thts why he was dropped
Well..who cares about this Aamir dude. He is generally a bitter man..as someone stated in this thread. IK is one of the greatest cricketer which Pakistan has produced. I wasn't expecting this for Aamir Sohair. Very disappointing..
So how did Amir Sohail as a captain and PCB official tried to deal with the reverse swing? What lessons did he give to Wasim and Waqar?
Imran left one of world's most talented and celebrated teams behind, that's his legacy! He turned a mediocre side into a team that ended up producing all time favorite cricket icons, that's his legacy. He won the WC despite all odds against him, that's his legacy.
So who is this bitter and left out PMLNer trolling? Its one thing to troll PTI fans but here Amir had trolled fans of the game of cricket, from all around the world.
Imran Khan “destroyed” cricket in 1980s and 1990s so much that Aamer Sohail couldn’t fix in 2000s at top of cricket in Pakistan? Its PML-N talking, I believe.
It was Aamer’s era when lots of mediocre players were introduced, re-introduced, re-called, re-tried, re-tried, can he provide any justification for his failures as selector?

No, Afridi was dropped after he asked Kamran Akmal to catch him at the mall.
Well, what he said is his political 'majboori' now. I wonder who should be more responsible for current state of cricket in Pakistan? Someone who was the captain 2 decades ago or someone who was chief selector a decade ago and claimed Junaid Zia is the most hard working cricketer ever?
As expected poor guy is getting bashed everywhere by the deluded followers of imran and PTI.
What ever he has said is correct.
If you can swing the new ball on those slow and low dry pitches then good luck to you!
So are Hanif & Miandad also responsible for the current pathetic state of Pakistani batting?
Those who understand cricket know that the new ball does n't swing in the air or seam off the pitch on sub-continental dust bowls as much as say in english conditions. However those who had special talent & ability could swing the new ball as well as the old ball - bowlers such as Sarfraz, Imran, Wasim, Waqar & Akhtar and more recently Asif and Aamir. Our problem is none of our present bowlers are quite in the same league or have quite the same ability as the aforementioned bowlers
Hence over the years Pakistani bowlers learned and mastered the art of reverse swing; making the ball move in the air with the older ball; (it was actually discovered by Sarfraz not IK). And reverse swing can be achieved through natural means by taking good care of one side of the ball, maintaining shine on it. You don't really have to physically tamper with the ball. The ball gets scuffed up over time in those dry conditions.
Besides Aamir Sohail is missing the point. Even though the present bowling attack is not the same quality as before, we are not losing matches because of our bowling. **The bowlers by and large, within their limited capabilities, did their job even in this CT. It is the **batting (our long-term nemesis) which** is the main cause of our decline in cricket esp. defensive batting approach.** Pakistan are simply not producing good attacking batsmen, esp. batsmen with good technique and temperament. We lack batsmen who have the ability to win matches, perform in a crisis, dominate great bowling on any type of wicket and so on. Miandad for instance had nerves of steel and what he lacked in style or pure technique he compensated with superb improvisation and adaptation. Inzi was another great performer in pressure situations.
We need to prepare better pitches, green pitches with pace and bounce. Then we will automatically produce better openers
