Two new balls and too much monitoring now a days. 27 or more HD cameras in the ground, umpires keeping the ball in their pocket after the end of overs and during the fall of wickets.

Look at** Gul he is the prime example of our past. He sucks with the new ball and becomes a different bowler **when the ball is old and reversing.

New ball or Old ball, Gul was always a mediocre test and ODI bowler. Talent and ability wise he is not in the league of the aforementioned bowlers. Imran and the two W’s etc. most certainly did not suck with the new ball
