(Also, makes me laugh how so many Pakistanis said Bill Clinton wasn't fit to be US president because of his affair with Monica Lewinsky and 'lack of morals' but when it comes to Imran Khan what he has done is totally overlooked, being a womaniser and getting a girl pregnant then refusing to acknowledge the resulting child is apparently ok by some on here, and I bet the same ppl who criticise the 'decadent immoral' West. Sometimes seems as tho if ur male and Muslim u can get away with anything)
I don't care about what Clinton did with Lewinsky. he was a fine president for his country. what he did and who he did it to or with (as long as it was consensual) I don't really care about.
What moron REFUSES to take a DNA test when instructed to by a Court. Does he think he is above the law?? And why would Jemima take custody of the child if the girl had nothing to do with him (and how classy palming off ur own to ur ex-wife to bring up). He would do anything to protect his image, decent people own up to their mistakes, not try and cover them up.
fair enough. since the matter got so ugly, Imran should have taken the test and settled the debate.
I will say though how believable do you find Sita White's story that after they broke, she asked Imran to father a kid with her. and Imran of course, readily agreed. do you realistically think that is believable at all? was this lady Imran's only choice because he couldn't get any woman to bear his child? give me a break.
^ I don't believe in rejecting all his good deeds, just asking ppl to be a bit more blanced in regards to their feelings towards him, not make out he's some role-model. If one of my (future) sons ever acted the way he has after getting someone pregnant I'd make him take responsibility for it, not pretend it never happened.
I guess it's lucky Tyrian was born in the US and not Pakistan cos if she had been she'd prob be living in some orphanage herself whilst her dad ran around doing 'charity' work..
what part of "he is a role model in many aspects of life" do you not understand? I disagree with his politics. I disagree with his religious views. in fact his views infuriate me. yet that doesn't prevent me from appreciating all the great things he has done. plus personally speaking, I find his determination to be amazing. he was a very mediocre player who got into the team because of his family connections and went onto become one of the world's top athletes due to sheer hard work and bloodymindedness. that inspires me to get off my lazy behind and do something.
I don't approve of everything he has said or done. but I still consider him to be the greatest living Pakistani for his achievements on the field and off the field for Pakistan.
