Did any of the guppies had a chance to watch Imran on World Today. The program is telecast on Prime TV in the afternoon and repeated at 12:00 AM CST.
It was fantastic, I wish he could be our next PM. :k: :k: :k:

Re: Imran Khan on World Today
looks like u play cricket.. majority of poor peopel have grave problems rather tahn thinking of such a luxurious game as cricket.. PM needs a lot of votes in parliament.. hes got 1.. may be in 25-30 years he get enough votes.. Making a party is nothng making it popular in masses in all over Paksitan is indeed some thing.. everyone can talk big whe the person has nothing.. actual test comes in responsibility..
Re: Re: Imran Khan on World Today
looks like your a pro ppppp… ![]()
You are right about Making a party is nothing making it popular in massess in all over Pakistan. Having said that its even easier to inherit a popular party command and making it even more massess to make it popular all over Pakistan :k:
Since we have already tested the responsibilities of big mouths in the past so why not try Imran. I’d say hell he’s worth trying :k: :k: :k:
His views were good, and he openly criticized the present government, and underlined that the parliament right now is nothing, and highlighted that Jamali said that hes a puppet working under his boss. It was a nice show, except that the host (the Aamir guy, who used to be bald) is terrible.
Yeah I think that guy Amir look much better withou hair ![]()
Re: Re: Re: Imran Khan on World Today
And how u propose we should offer him PM ship is palate! A leader needs following that have faith in the person.. he got one seat this time.. PPP and PML are big parties with huge following.. he can only come if he tries back door.. if u like him it doesnt mean he should be tried to lead country.. Its a huge resposibility amd not a cricket match that he be given chance.. there are hundreds of more MNA’s in assembly..

we've all seen what the big parties have done....PPP, PML
all luteras.....Imran is the only person worth supporting in the national assembly at this time.....the PPP n PML (we've see n them run the country), theyre looters. The PML(Q) is the same as the old PML(N) and is full of chors!

The problem with that is one person cant lead a country in democracy! The big parties like PPP and PML have problem the they always have to cater so many groups of MNA's and pressure groups while a single person can get away with that.. If Benazir or Nawaz Sharif could be elected directly with needing so many MNA's they could had done much more. Its not that easy to behead of state with soo much diverse pressures. Imran can say anything since he doesnt have any support as shis party was routed.. being a good person and honest doesnt guarantee that the person will do miracles when given responsibility. Without any backing any person can give great speeches.. look the best ideas were always from Tehri-ke-Istaklal but never had any support.
In my view Imran should had joined a major party and worked himself up making some credibility.. he doesnt have any grass root support in Pakistan. There have only been two success cases in Pakistan u believe it or not. PML by Jinnah and PPP by Z A Bhutto. Besides that there have been scores of attempts by individuals to create parties.. no one succeded.

he was affoered a PML ticket in the last elections but he refused because of the corruption the PML(N) had caused and because it consisted of luteras like the Chaudharies n Saif ur Rahman.
sadly, members of his party do not have enough support!
Re: Re: Re: Imran Khan on World Today
man next time talk some sence, becoming a leader of a party which is already big with the masses aint a joke and u can not inherit it just like that unless u are worth something your self.

I agree with you. When he was the cricket captain he used to kick out players from the team because he didn't like them. The selection committee had no say in team selection. When he was not selected on the tour of Australia on medical grounds (due to stress fracture of his shin) he got the whole selection committee sacked and went as non playing captain. Now he talks of democracy and building institutions. What a hypocrite!

Please dont even think about questioning his cricketing and captiancy skills. He was the one who brought us the world cup, he was the one who would just take his team to India for the inaugral Nehru cup and win it for us, and also won over the crowd there. He was the one who discovered magical talents like Inzimam, waqar or Wasim. I just cant help it if someone questioned his cricketing career and captiancy. He was the best captain we ever had.

I would tell Imran to keep it up (thats what he said in the interview) eventually his time will come too. If he had the hunger for PM he could have easily joined any lota party and could have tried for a PM.
Its easy to inherit the command of one of the leading party and become PM on the basis of that, than get a slap on the face and run for your life. Thats what happen if you do something for what you can't handle or you don't have the guts to perform. And for Imran he will have lots of experience before becoming PM.

Than he would have become one of the looters too. This way if he becomes PM than he can do miracles ;)
I have been a big fan of Imran Khan since his cricketing days. The man is very honest and a great ambassador for Pakistan. I wish him all the best in politics and hopefully more Pakistani's will vote for his party as opposed to voting for their "bradaris".

COLOR=darkblue]I'm not questioning his cricketing skills. If he won the World Cup it was due to his dictatorial behaviour. He should not change tracks now and talk of democracy and institution building.
