The army is under stress from more than two fronts. They have to maintain housing societies, land development projects, fertilizer plants, constructions companies, chemical plants, logistics companies, hotels and resorts, and so on. We must not restrict operations of this conglomerate.

Umm…in case you are referring to FFC, FFBL, Askari bank etc, they are all public companies. They were started by the military, but employ a wide range of civilians, and do not get funded by the defence budget.
