Re: Imran arrested after stand-off with Jamaat-e-Islami students
Brother, that is what students of IJT did, they worked to not discriminate between people. They do not want to discriminate between different persons visiting the university to give speeches or start protest against the state. According to law of Pakistan (rather law in many countries), no one can enter university to gather student to start agitation against the state or give speeches without been invited by representative of University. Not even police can enter university without permission, how can individuals who have nothing to do with university can be allowed to do that.
Imran did not take permission from authorities in University (Student union and VC needed to get consulted and made to agree before he visits). What you want? If you think that Imran should have been allowed, than first work to get the law change, so that anyone ... ayera, gayera, naththo, khera ... goes to University without discussing their visit and purpose of their visit, and taking permission from anyone, give speeches and try to get students agitated in University against authorities or state, than if that happens, than if anyone is not allowed, then complain, else one should not complain against what IJT did.
Sir, I was referring to discrimination of views and opinion. If some ones to date a gal he was haressed to the utmost. Not to speak about If they try to retaliate he was buried alive, shot in the head or dastardly beaten up badly. Are we living in stone age? I don't agree on such terms. There was no rule ever to be applied on Students to be restricted of male meeting female.
And don't come up with:
As long as they had the upper hand at PU, they protected Pak izaat of being looted.
Trust me, this was merely not the case.
I know lots of stories about them.
Hypocrites.
