Re: Imran Khan in eye of storm over ‘pateechar’ comment about foreign PSL players
Again and again same baseless allegations… What else can we expect from the supporter and worshiper of phateechar leader (agent of Mossad… and traitror of Pakistan)
This thread is about phateechar comment.. and you can not change topic as you do several time in past.. Stick to the topic otherwise you will keep make circular argument like average PMLn , JI supporter do…
Re: Imran Khan in eye of storm over ‘pateechar’ comment about foreign PSL players
Watched the video couple of times. I don’t think Imran Khan was being vicious. When he mentioned Africa, it was to signify that Africa is not known for cricket (other than SA). He probably and that comment referring to Darren Swamy. He thought he was being funny. His main point was only ordinary players showed up ( I have no idea and I don’t care if it is true or not).
LONDON: England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) chairman slammed cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan for what he called ‘disrespecting’ foreign players, who recently visited Lahore for the final of Pakistan Super League (PSL).
In an interview with a daily newspaper, ECB Chairman Colin Graves said that Imran’s remarks were “very disparaging” against cricketers like Darren Sammy, Dawid Malan and other players.
Imran Khan had called the foreign players “Phateechar” (shabby), triggering sharp criticism from across Pakistan and overseas.
In a video, Imran was seen stating that “I don’t know even the name of any of these so-called foreign players. It seems to me that they have been caught from here and there, some caught from Africa to tell us that they are foreign players. We don’t know who these people are.”
Graves said that foreign players who arrived in Lahore deserved respect and appreciation and no insults for playing the final match despite security concerns.
Administration of PSL and Pakistan Cricket Board successfully organised the match in Pakistan despite concerns internationally.
Foreign players of Quetta Gladiators including Kevin Pietersen refused to come to Pakistan and the cricket board substituted them with other international players.
