Not that i have anything to do with it, But IK could have earned brownies if he had it done in proper way. Reham Khan would have been in lot more better position if there were no mysteries and secrecy and conspiracy theories around...
I mean the man is PM in waiting and he cannot even handle a simple issue of wedding without controversies...
if the reports of Nikah in November are true then, it is a really sorry state... i mean he couldn't hold his horses till the dharna drama is over? i mean everyday we hear news that someone from PTI have called of his marriage because of dharna and what not and guess what, the leader of the dharna himself was getting married...
He said he would never lie... and he cannot even have his wedding with a lie...

That's the part that bothers me, the immaturity of it all. Once the cat is out of the bag, just announce to the crowd that yes, it's true, we wanted to wait, but someone leaked the info against our will. Simple.
This whole denying of the marriage, then admitting it happened. Just agree to get married, announce your plans and then let the marriage be a public event and transparent, but I guess there would be security fears.

that part i agree...he could have handled it much better. I heard back in late Oct from some close PTI leaders that Imran and reham are about to get get married...and that it is a done deal. So obviously it is not a new issue.
Now everyone knows that i am not Imran's fan but in all fairness, it was hard for him to announce his wedding in the middle of dharna and all jalsas. Then Peshawar tragedy happened. So he had to delay the announcement but i think he could have handled the situation better in last few weeks. her sister claimed few days ago that Khan told her that he is not marrying anyone...and then few days later he admitted marrying to reham.

When you are in a emotional relationship with a woman which Khan and reham were (most likely they were...we know for sure it was not an arranged nikah), the situation is very different and complex.
I have a feeling that khan did the nikah upon reham's insistence right in the middle of dharnas and then tried to delay the announcement amid political necessitates and then peshwar tragedy. Now i can understand why Khan said "mian jee resign karo so that i can get married"...he must be under pressure either to do nikah or announce the nikah by reham

only thing is, he neither reham khan are teenagers who are bursting with emotions and what not...
like i said, he is PM in waiting... and a PM of Pakistan who claims to bring revolution in every thing in Pakistan cannot control his emotions at the age of 62... he is not 18 years old any more that they have to runaway and then later announce nikah...
anyway, i believe he is not capable of any responsible position and this episode proved it, only thing is, let us see how reham khan handle it... is she PM material..

Oh please quit this saas bahu drama. He ‘lied to the nation’? As if in a country like Pakistan, the nation should really be asked to give eff about Imran’s marriage or how many wives Shahbaz Sharif has at any given time? Of course you would if you call yourself a pseudo-liberal.
I find it so cringe worthy how Pakistani men (yes the men) seem far more upset and are bitc***ng and nit picking about Imran’s marriage than women. The world is indeed coming to an end. In the midst of Peshawar tragedy, why was the nation even concerned about his marriage? He has children, and she has children, and like or not, they come first before the crazy wedding frenzy Abdullah’s sitting in the gallery. What is to you whether Imran announces his marriage or not? Have Mullahs now declared marriages a cardinal sin in Pakistan?
Honestly, Imran is not some 20 something lad who was obliged to have a perfect “arranged marriage” to please the crowd, and bring a bride to a perfect joint family set up. All families have their own issues and dramas. Imran’s family is no different.
