I never understand what his point is

ever so confusing person always tries to convince that Pak army is fighitng

Americas was and we must negotiate with the terrorists.

before you sling further mud at Imran, please note that the senior most army officer - Major-General Umar Bilal Shaheed - who lost his life in the sad and unfortunate Parade Lane Mosque attack was a close relative of Imran Khan. Major-General Bilal was in charge of Wana Operation a while ago and he had been on terrorists' hit list since then.

An army can be accused of fighting someone else war if that army is fighting armed opponents outside the country on behalf of another country (again, if they are fighting in the interest of their own country than that war cannot be called someone else war).

When an army fights a war within own country against armed opponents challenging writ of state ... [that includes crossing international border without government consent, challenging laws of state within state, firing at state machineries (Army, police, government officials and representatives, etc), killing innocent civilians, imposing their rule and laws in part of country they got upper hand, etc] ... than that cannot be called someone else’s war (just like, when someone is scratching own head than that person cannot say that he/she is scratching someone else head) ... and Pakistan army is fighting such war since 2002 (since the day armed intruders started pouring into Pakistan from across the border illegally and locals joined them, then both in collusion started challenging the writ of government in Pakistan).

So, it is obvious that Pakistan army is fighting war for Pakistan and not fighting war for any other country ... As ... Pakistan army is not fighting anyone outside Pakistan but fighting war against people who are challenging writ of Pakistan in Pakistan.

As for Imran, he is always confused when it comes to ‘own and someone else’, and regardless of being own, he always said that it is someone else. For instance, from his college days, whenever a girl told him that she is pregnant with his baby, he accused her that it is not his baby but someone else baby. Even today, his daughter ‘Tyrian Khan’ from Sita White is struggling that her daddy Imran accepts her officially as his daughter, Imran is reluctant to accept her as his own and is adamant to call her someone else daughter (just like he is adamant calling Pakistani war as someone else war).

Imran has actually accepted Sita White as his daughter in principle but for reasons (cultural and religious sensitivities) which are quite obvious to any sane person he cannot say so in public. There was a 10-12 page spread in Hello magazine in late-90s with pictures of Imran and Tirian when Imran went to visit Sita White in USA. Tirian had just received a prize (for high achievement in maths) from Bill Clinton.

So what! many in our ruling elite drink alcohol (incl. generals - Musharraf etc. (all the current NRO created political mess is his blessing) and politicians)) and have probably also committed adultery. How old are you? What do you know about ‘politicians’? Are you suggesting any politician can walk-up to anyone for negotiation and give them whatever they are asking for?

Peaceful settlement ... for what and with whom? These retards and IRA are two different things.

IRA was fighting for their rights, fighting against discrimination they (Irish) suffers in UK, fighting for independence of the area they live, fighting to join their mother country (Ireland), etc. Their war was related to ‘Them’ and ‘United Kingdom’.

TTP is not fighting for their right, against any sort of discrimination they suffer in Pakistan, independence of the area they live, or anything to do with them and State (Pakistan). Actually, their war is not with Pakistan as state. Their war is war of ideology, their ideology that they want to impose over other Pakistanis by force. For that, TTP and their retarded supporters are willing to destroy properties, kill innocent civilians, spread terrorism all over Pakistan, and fight State (Pakistan).

We should remember that if these retards (TTP) were fighting for their rights within the country, were fighting against discrimination if they suffer, against their exploitation, against persecuted, or were even fighting for independence, well if they were fighting for anything to do with them and State, than one could have talked to them and could have come to an amicable solution.

Unfortunately, their (Taliban) war is nothing to do with them that state can give them, but their (TTP) war is to persecute and subjugate other Pakistanis so that to enforce their (TTP) ideology on them, it is duty of State (Pakistan), as protector of all Pakistanis, to fight these retards without any talk, giving them two options, death or unconditional surrender (certainly, there is no place for talk with them).
