Imran Khan and his personal life

Since there have been many questions raised about Imran Khan’s personal life, I guess it is time to have a look at it.

First of all, no doubt Imran Khan has some flaws in his character - and he wouldn’t be a human if he didn’t have those. But the major attack on him by supporters of rival political parties is based upon his personal life. They call him play boy, a man who had several love affairs outside wedlock etc. Not that personal lives of any political leaders interest me, I would however like to know which one of the current and past leaders and members of our elite did not have those. Lets list few leaders of rival parties from present and past and see where they stand.

How about these for a start:

  • Nawaz Sharif
  • Shabaz Sharif
  • Hamza Shebaz Sharif
  • Benazir Bhutto
  • Zulifikar Ali Bhutto
  • Asif Ali Zardari
  • Bilawal Bhutto
  • Murtaza Bhutoo
  • Altaf Hussain

Do or did these guys not have any love affairs? Weren’t some of these openly admitting they were vivid drinkers? Some are even accused for crimes such as raping and so on (only God knows better).

Actually let me ask it rhetorically, how many members of the elite families in our country can you really call as “pure”, not having one single love affair?

How many of the posters on PA who openly criticize Imran Khan can put their hands on their hearts and swear they did not have a love affair at one or other stage of their lives?

So why he alone is used as target practice for this but other “leaders” are conveniently spared?

Re: Imran Khan and his personal life

Better we should discuss personal lives of alive people.
Otherwise it will reach to other dead people and bosses will not like it .

Re: Imran Khan and his personal life

I'm all for sparing the dead and not recalling their misdeeds.
Will you do the same for Imran once he has passed on?

Regardless, there are enough "live" people in the list......

Re: Imran Khan and his personal life

^I agree with you completely. Everybody has flaws..and undue papparazzi and intrusion into people’s personal lives and making allegations doesn’t make sense either. All I know is, I have heard this guy a lot of times and he is a true patriot. Other than that this article published in 1998 is enough to make me believe he is a person of a good heart too.

To all his criticisers and supporters of PPP, PML-N, MQM etc..can any of you come up with a more honest, straightforward article or any such speech by any of the *current *party leaders? And yes I mean current so please don’t start quoting Bhutto. The PPP of today is not even remotely close to what it was in Bhutto’s times and even then we all know the moral degeneration that was prevelant in 1970s so let’s not get into that.

Re: Imran Khan and his personal life

at OP: Are you going to write 'Parliament se Bazar e Husn Tak - Part 2'.

Re: Imran Khan and his personal life

These are leaders which have active association with parties who throw all sort of deleted on Imran Khan.

And you seem to have a special interest in Imran's personal life. So the time has come now and it is your turn to tell us something about your leaders Pasha Saab.

^ Bade buzrig kehte hain 'Gandgi ko gandgi nahin paani saaf karta hai'. So lets avoid such discussions.

here’s some material to start with…

Re: Imran Khan and his personal life

As I said, a majority of Pakistanis do not care about personal lives of elites.

Questions, however, must be raised on moral grounds about those who take special interest in Imran's personal life, but do not want to know about the skeletons in their own closets.

So once and for all, on this forum this issue should be settled.

Re: Imran Khan and his personal life

I said once already
Aap itni bhi bholi naheen hain
And I don't live on the links.
I see much what happening inside
There is no angel
And angels can not do politics .
There are never angels in politics anywhere .
It is a dirty play .
Nothing is passed , Let it go
Imran is a strong contestant this time.
Let him play as a man .
Waisay bhi
Chor chori say jaiay ,Hera pheri say na jaiay
چور چوری سے جائے ہیرا پھیری سے نہ جائے

We two three opponents are keeping this forum colorful
Otherwise
Too mera haji bagoem Man tra Haji Bago
تو مرا حاجی بگویم من ترا حاجی بگو
There is much to say now , Not much need to go to personal attacks .
However Leaders have no personal life anywhere .

Re: Imran Khan and his personal life

Nice quote from Bible. So lets everyone collect 'Pathars' for others ' Sheeshe ke mahal'.

Re: Imran Khan and his personal life

That sums it up nicely…We dont want this boy to be our leader i mean look at him.He looks like a jerk

Re: Imran Khan and his personal life

You forgot to mention "Takht-e-Lahore" in this random collection of sentences.

Re: Imran Khan and his personal life

I wish the same. But we'll always be in 'Beggars are not the choosers' situation unless we don't think of our country and tries to get rid of politicians who always rule on the basis of 'Divide and Rule' formula.

Re: Imran Khan and his personal life

Great , They looks follower of Imran Khan now

Re: Imran Khan and his personal life

or perhaps followers of 'pinky' ? - Its in the blood Pasha bhai , its in the blood

Re: Imran Khan and his personal life

Jialas will vote for PPP in upcoming elections no matter what happens chahe dunya idhar he udhar ho jaye .......Same goes for PML N too

Re: Imran Khan and his personal life

If they really want to become followers of Imran, how about adopting some of his good qualities too? For example:

  • Building universities
  • Building hospitals
  • paying income tax honestly

Wouldn't that be something mutually beneficial for all?

And they don't even have to join his party for that.
