You’re right, as a bowler, he was one of the best pacers to have played the game. Other than that 9 wickets perfomance there was also the record 7 wickets for 1 run (against England I think). He pioneered reverse swing.

However, as a human being I’m afraid the guy’s a knob.

Bowling in the past…and analyzing present cricket situation are completely two different things…we the observers should be more objective at present…a la carte…
