I agree with you on this. It is possible that the money was 2 lakhs or 20, 000 as Salim suggests. Rs. 20 millions at that time is equivalent to Rs. 2 billions today and you know lohay ka kabarhia could not have earned such a huge amount in the sixties and giving as bribe his hard earned money as claimed in the story. Even 20, 000 was quite a big amount in those days. But the point is not the quantity of money but the bribing habits of Sharifs which goes back to sixties as obvious from the above report.

so when confronted and proven wrong yet again…you instead of doubting story and the story teller, is only doubting amount!!!

now can u please tell me why this loyal and honest man did not have sharif arrested for offering bribe!!!
