1.Previous government had suffered a lot on this account. I wonder if Kyani, ISI and his generals will ever agree to that. What if difference of opinion on war on terror and drones come up in the meeting? In that case Kyani has the upper hand hence status quo will result in waste of time. Before this meeting, Army should agree to work under PM and in the meeting it should be prerogative of PM with consensus of other major political parties to decide not the army general.

you call it his immaturity. I consider his idealistic approach. Now who would not want to bring Army & ISI to tell the whole truth to the political leadership? Civilian supremacy is not just his dream, its also PMLN’s and PPP’s dream. And if we ever want to accomplish that, we have to start somewhere.

btw, you just contradicted yourself in second statement. This is exactly what IK is asking for what you just said.

2. leaders of All major political parties should be in that meeting. Why IK is insisting only his presence? It is not KP only, Baluchistan and Sindh have also been severe target of terrorism. Perhaps more people have died in Sindh particularly in Karachi and in Baluchistan.

Like kakaballi said in last post, he does not want himself to be there. But the thing is that all other parties (PPP, JUI, ANP, MQM) could not make the difference in last tenure. Yes they should be in APC but a secret session should be with representatives of PMLN (federal, balochistan, punjab) & PTI (KPK).

For sindh, yes PPP should be there but not MQM.
