This article is from one of the leading technology magazines in the Middle East. You may find it interesting.
With 140 million people, burgeoning telecoms and banking sectors and a government that firmly believes embracing IT in all its forms is one of the best ways to promote the development of the economy, it is little wonder that Pakistan’s star is rising.
in addition to dat 1 can also witness a change in ppl’s attitude
now they seem more optimistic n r havin a positive outlook for future. I personally have met so many ppl recently who r either against the brain drain n want 2 work n live in Pakistan or have came back 2 da home land from da more obvious greener pastures. This attitude n willingness 2 work for a better 2morrow will definitely bring Pakistan in lime light :insha:
I agree with this article & can see that IT is booming and I hope things go to a level where we can see every office with a small network. But still loads of work needs to be done. We have more than 50% businessmen in Pakistan who dont call a Honda Civic a "honda civic" instead they call it "billo dee akh wali gaddi" and we need to convince & educate them to participate as well.
