That 2 year BA program was simply useless. I am glad we are getting rid of it now.

LAHORE: A Bachelor’s of arts/bachelor’s of Science (BA/BSc) four-year degree programme’s launching ceremony was held at Lahore College for Women University’s (LCWU) auditorium on Saturday.
LCWU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Bushra Mateen presided over the ceremony, which was attended by deans, heads, the chief proctor, controller of examinations and 1,049 students. The VC briefed the students about the four-year programme, introduced by the Higher Education Commission. staff report

unrelated question, but I have noticed that Pakistani students who are trying to go for MBA here and have a BCOM are also required to have an MCOM. Isn't MCom a master in business to begin with?

about time the colonial system of education was overhauled. we need to bring in more vocational and technical courses. The BA BSc system was designed to produce an army of clerks (for the British). For us it produces an army of unemployed graduates, easily exploitable by fundoos.

Time to follow German system of schooling. Every graduate should be versed with at least 1 technical skill coupled with mendatory internship duirng 4 summers of college.
We are producing baboos or leaches hell bent on sucking the nation bone dry.
It is also time to rid the free education at higher levels. Both men and women must work for their education. You will see Jamati and other fundoos will disappear from the colleges.
