Re: Impressive ‘Rana’
Good to see people joining the “Appreciate Rana” bandwagon (no pun on Saby). I liked him the day he bowled against India first time… yes I was pissed off too with his no-balls but I knew he has it in him, and luckily for him both Shoaib and Sami are out so people are getting to know him better and now appreciating!
Good job Rana :k: … keep it up, don’t let the “height” get into your head, just remember the ONE (Allah) who brought you up can always easily bring you down as well!

From Bob's Site:
Thanks for all the support and it was agood day today although we have just learnt of the Death of Rana Naveed's father and I wish to send my sincere condolonces to his family. Rana is being comforted by the team as I write.
We have also learnt that Aamir Sohails father has just died as well and the team send their condolonces to his family as well.
It is sobering to realise that cricket is not everything and life is precious.

Re: Impressive 'Rana'
This is so sad, however you have to salute Rana for his dedication that he chose to stay with the team. May Allah reward him for this sacrifice. Ameen.
Re: Impressive 'Rana'
Yes, he does deserve a credit, personally I think he should've gone cuz with that kinda loss it'd be hard to deliver which would be injustice to himself, team and family (for not joining them in the loss).
Re: Impressive 'Rana'
^ second that. His committment to the team cause is beyond words. May Allah give him and his family the courage to bear the loss.
Rana's Father Passed away...
Inna Lillahe wa Inna Ilehay Rajeoon
Re: Impressive 'Rana'
I agree with ASN on the bandwagon thing. But I have been supporting Rana since the first day in Karachi ODI against India in which he was terrible in the first over but later on picked up 3 wickets, as far as I can remember. This is a lesson for the Actor worshippers, the basics, the swing, the line and length is still the secret of this trade. Three mediocre medium-pacer with fighting spirit are thousands time better than a barking dog who bites and runs at 161/kmph. Dedication, team decipiline and professionalism lead to the victory.
I hope with Shabbir's return, we will have atleast two decent full time bowlers in Rana and Shabbir. Incase the 'majboori' breaks down again in the middle of a game. I hope the 'majboori' gets unfit for the rest of his life.
Re: Impressive ‘Rana’
Last night he was bowling like 146 kmph, which is pretty good.
Re: Impressive 'Rana'
WG bhai, did u watch the match?
