In an arranged setting - how important is it to impress the girl? If the parents are already impressed will the girl usually just go along w the proposal? What are girls usually looking for in these settings to make their own decisions?

the rest …the girl usually does go along with the proposal but these days parents are encouraging their sons/daughters to at least talk/meet the potential rishta once to get to know them.
i would say the safest thing would be to just be yourself !

Wellllll...i don't think its necessary that if the girl's parents like you, it will be yes from the girl too. However, most families are quite aware of what the girl/guy wants in their partner so the sensible parents don't proceed a rishta unless they see a good chance of it being accepted. But you never know :p
And you can't really know wat the girl ur gonna meet wl be looking for in her partner so just be yourself and if it is meant to be, it will be.

It would definitely bother me. But then I was also thinking how much interest from her side would be considered normal in an arranged setting? Can't expect her to be head over heels --- or can I!?

How to impress a girl;
1- Read romatic poetry to her.
2- Tell her you can spell 'acknowledgement'.
3- Lift 50 pounds weight infront of her, do 30 push ups or stand on one foot for 15 minutes.
4- Fix her broken car.
5- Show her you can fry an egg.
6- Tell her you take shower, brush your teeth everyday.
7- Add something you are best at here.
(Walking with keeping the tummy inside earns extra points)
Seriously, just relax. Be yourself...with the condition that you are otherwise a good person.
