If anyone has any suggestions on products to import from Pakistan and India for business purposes, would you please list them here. Something apart from textiles/clothing and rugs. I’d like some ideas if you have any and are willing to share; this is for myself and two other friends that are interested. Thank you.
I knew pakistani guy who used to distribute the rubber hosings and parts for automobiles. Had decent sized market here in the US especially in the used market place.
Well i know Pakistan has good leather products and a lot of people import that here.

My uncle ran a leather company in Pakistan and went of of business because of lack of demand in the West for Pakistani leather.
Right, I'd like something new, something untapped...or not so common. I'm sure Pakistan has a lot of things to offer, I need to research, but wanted some ideas here if possible. Thanks!

the best think u could import right now, is skills .
Its the most cost effective investment u can make in my humble opinion. i have some programmers there, and im going to visit them in january inshallah.
Theres a million kind of skills u could import.

im sure the list goes on.
It doesnt have to be IT.
How about something like a custom tailored shoemaking service ?
I have a relative here in the UK, who is approaching companies in specific industries. eg Construction companies, etc, to tailor make shoes for their employees . All the skills and materials used will be imported from pakistan. He's going to setup a web portal that will handle all this, so the company makes an online order on his website, and the website transparantly places the order to the ppl in pak land. the order is processed and the shoes are delivered to the customer . (its all transparent of course)
